works for me too on ie 6 win 2000 and xp

it might be wmp, if i use jpeg's its fine but was trying to reduce bandwidth requirements thats all. what happens is 1 stream will just pause but the rest will contiue. Then after a while the paused stream will start up agin 10 mins behind the others. Then another stream will pause for 3 mins. Event...

Not sure if im right but on montage view i have all diferent times from the different cameras. Is this due to capuring at different pps speeds or something else Using ffmpeg and IE 6

Any chance of a live alarm view showing what caused the alarm in red etc. Just like how it is but live? This would enable us to tweak setting and see the results immediatly

Sorry if this in the wrong place, already possible/already done. I was wondering what the maximum speed the host machine could stream a recorded image at? I presume its quite high. Could this then be fed back into the server as a video feed. My question/idea is Select the day / time you want to look...

these philips chips then are they the way forward, what cards does the commercial windowns boxes use?? I read that osprey were improving the drivers for linux but would probably only do this for there new cards?

right then. havnt a clue but i will have a look around and see if i can come up with anything. I will find out how the others work. I would assume its one hell of a project cos these systems are new and not cheap. They all seem to be built on windowns though.

Yeah true hadnt thought of that but arnt they a bit expensive?

would imagine its well hard but could it recognise number plates and put a string into the event list for searching. This might need special cameras as we tend to use high contrast and IR to make the computers life easier
