non array in functions on line 1333
Hi, Installed zoneminder 1.24.1 (ubuntu karmic server), and all goes well, except for the same error on the events window, however mine has an additional oddity : It does not happen on my laptop. Very weird, as all the machines are all the same install of ubuntu, and that should (??) not be a worry ...

ZoneMinder expects the module to have <Module>.pm and that the package name in the file is package ZoneMinder::Control::<Module>; it drops the extension for the package name. You should be able to rise the debug from the console in options->debug. You can also rise the debug level in zmcontrol.pl b...

Looks good. This is weird, as the code inside was not changed, only the name. Have you set the proper package name in the file? package ZoneMinder::Control::<Module>; This is required. If you still have issues, Maybe try taking out the underscore in the file name. Hi, yes the package name is set as...

Have you checked to make sure the permissions on the file are correct? It's the only time I see this error for the modules. Hi, Thank you for the reply. Can you give a hint what the right perms should be? /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/ZoneMinder/Control $ ls -la total 92 drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 2...

Was hoping maybe someone could help us out. This orbit cam is pretty inexpensive and when teamed up with the Linksys NSLU2 or similar device creates a very powerful remote control camera. Thanks for working on this dedmeet, hopefully you'll figure it all out. I'm still messing with it and reading u...

Re: Adding new control settings
I have also found this issue in 1.24.
The only way to get the settings for a new control to be done is to manipulate the db directly.

zmcontrol not loading new control module [SOLVED]
Hi, I am helping another user with getting their camera control working, with a remote cam running on the mjpg_streamer software. I have created a new module (adapted from the PanasonicIP.pm module) for him, but for some reason I can't get it to work. From my debuging it looks like the new module is...

Good morning everyone. I have the Orbit AF and have successfuly set it up using the mjpg_streamer as described on this page. This morning I was doing a little bit more googling to see if I can get the pan/tilt/zoom features working with the camera. I got pretty lucky on one of my search strings, an...

It covers the PTZ information as described in prior posts, but also explains how to use the vloopback device for the camera instead of using mjpg_streamer. -- Devsforev Hi, very interesting, and well worth playing with. Question: would this still need the actual v4l driver for the cam to be loaded?...

Re: can zoneminder works with the V4L2 now?
I brought a Logitech Orbit AF, which is driven by UVC driver. Up to now I haven't see a success case that the cam works under zoneminder as a local usb Cam. I don't know if I'm right, could anyone give me a clue? Thank you in advance! Hi, You could try the streaming route, as described here: http:/...

without the action=snapshot, it just returns: 501: Not Implemented! no www-folder configured In other words, it doesn't work if you just request the root webpage (/). Maybe I have a newer version than you have? Does sound like you are using the newer version, however it will compile to a file calle...

Bus 005 Device 003: ID 046d:08c9 Logitech, Inc. I believe it worked as described. I do have issues with total black frames coming... but I'm trying to do 640x480 at like 8 FPS. Need to play with it... but seems the web service built into UVC_streamer returns broken jpegs if you push it too hard. OH...
