Is there anyway to keep the VNC server running even after a reboot?

The broken JPEG fix to Firefox (by changing the browser.cache.check_doc_frequency and
browser.cache.disk.enable) worked a treat!

Hmm. It appears to work fine now from home (mozilla - hooray) but keeps looping back using IE (when I try again from work).

I'm wondering if my company is blocking certain ports. ... does zm only need port 80?

I run IPCOP as the firewall but it is a very complex tool (for me) so I would probably have no idea if I was being hit anyway

Hey everyone, I've just done a fresh zm livecd install. All going nicely, cameras fine, etc until....

I enabled authentication. I try and login admin\admin

I see a message "loggin in..." flash before my eyes.

Then back to the login prompt

Repeat!


Any clues?

if I go to

I get to the the login screen!

(but if I just go to 10.50.60.77 I get the advx page)

... couldn't find an httpd.conf file but *did* find an httpd2.conf which starts with a warning - "you really shouldn't change these settings unless you're a guru." I shyed away :( Also tried to open /etc/zm.conf but got blasted with "cannot open remote file." Tips? Suggestions?? ...

Hi, when I do a montage, sometimes I get 'broken' jpeg icons, or it just sits there trying to load the jpeg... I've read some of the previous posts but didn't see a clear fix for the jpeg issue (I don't have a need for MPEG - prefer to use firefox without add-ins) - - is there a workaround for this ...
