Update LiveCD 1.19.1

Post by Serg »

Many thanks for soft!
Version 1.19.1 works ideally!

But:
I Try to make update up to 1.19.3 and I receive in a window -

<You are running the most recent version of ZoneMinder, v1.19.1. >
<No update is necessary >

That it is necessary to make for update?

No you don't use the web interface to update ZM. There is an example of how to do an update in this thread. Just do the same but change 1.19.2 to 1.19.3 and when you get to the stage

mysql zm < db/zmalter-1.19.1.sql # Apply database diffs from 1.19.1, you may need to give a username and password here.

make sure you also do

mysql zm < db/zmalter-1.19.2.sql

to apply the DB diffs from 1.19.2 also.

Thanks!

I shall try to do update.

One more question: whether it is possible to pass at once from version 1.19.1 to version 1.19.3, without update up to version 1.19.2?

Yes, the instructions above assume that you are. You do have to apply any intermediate database changes though which was what I wad demonstrating.

Many thanks!

Updating up to version 1.19.3 proceeded only 7 minutes and has come to the end successfully!

P.S.
I can am mistaken, but it seems to me, that buttons NEXT and PREV need to be changed places. Event farther on time - PREV.

Good, I'm glad to hear it went well.

This issue is more a 'feature' than a 'bug' really and is discussed in this thread.
