Unable to view video on iPhone but no prob with PCs

I had to rebuild my ZM machine a while back but I've had one nagging issue that I haven't quite figured out (too many other things taking up my time to get to the bottom of this). When I log into my ZM from any PC, I have absolutely no issue with live views or event playback but I am not able to see any video if I try to do so with my iPhone. I've tried a couple of apps that worked in the past as well as just logging in via the web on my iPhone and no video. If I log in via the web interface on my iPhone, I can see that each monitor exists and I can see that event videos exist but there is never any image or video. I presume that this SHOULD be an easy fix, that there is an incompatible video format or something, but haven't figured out what is different.

What version of iphone/IOS?

This dev has no iphone, but might be able to get an emulator going.

This dev has noticed issues on android where the auto-scale doesn't work. Might try setting a fixed scale.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max running iOS 16.2. My wife has an iPhone 12 Pro Max and I believe she is on iOS 16.1
