Zoneminder Alernatives?

UPDATE: All is resolved by running 1.34 branch. YES! Don't run DEV branch and wonder why things are broke. END UPDATE

Without the timeline, event review for a single camera, or fast forward working, I'm having a hard time using my cameras. We had a recent event happen during one afternoon and I'm not able to check for it without these features working as they have for so many years. Is there anyone who has tried any other software? I have always loved Zoneminder and would love to continue using it, but I guess it is time to see what else could be available. Anyone have any suggestions?

You've posted this in our beta version forum. Zoneminder 1.35 is our development branch. Breakage is guaranteed.

Here is our releases page:
https://github.com/ZoneMinder/zoneminder/releases

Production systems should only be running a released version of ZoneMinder.

Ah yes, thanks for pointing out my problem. I'm using the ppa:

deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/iconnor/zonemi ... ter/ubuntu bionic main

On ubuntu 18.04 which has me on 1.35.5 and I did not realize that is the dev branch. Does anyone know if there is a way to get on the prod branch using a apt and ppa? Very excited to find out my issue is me, I can fix that, thanks again!

Nevermind, found it https://launchpad.net/~iconnor/+archive ... inder-1.34

Once I have tried shinobi . But it is useless . It is difficult to uninstall once you install . It is a commercial software. Zoneminder is better than shinobi.
