Installed Zoneminder on Linux Lite through synaptic. Synaptic shows it is installed, but it isn't in the menu. Once installed, how do I start the program. I am not good a command line and can only copy/paste it. Can anyone help someone who is somewhat computer illiterate but only uses Linux lite and has no other operating systems on any computer? I need to monitor my gate because I am being threatened by someone who raped me and I am afraid he will come and kill my animals so I want to be able to monitor my house by computer. I don't even have a smart phone, so that is not an option... I only have an ancient flip phone. Anything will help so I can install a single security camera.
