Hi,
Is it possible either directly in zoneminder or simply
with an external program to email notifications and
archived images off site?
The obvious problem is that if you catch someone
breaking in and they see the camera they steal the
computer too, hence emailing off site.
Seems like a very usefull program, especially the
way it shows the difference in the frames.

Hi Graham,

The best way to do this is via a filter. You can set up filters to send all, or a subset, of alarms to a remote site (at least the images) or mail you certain images or a video.

The options controlling format and ftp details are in the Options section but to use them you will need to set up a filter.
