long time booting

configuring kernnel paramiters
setting clock (utc) thur april 8 11:22:16 PDT 2010
ONE BLANK LINE AT BOTTOM BLINKING "-" SIGN
as its booting ether its hanging on setting clock or the thing after setting clock
it hangs for 3 minuits then finishes booting
Installed with ZMlivecd disk v1.23.3
any help appriciated
