ZMLARCH localhost not working.

I installed this Live cd
http://www.isentrix.com/pub/zoneminder/ ... x/ZMLarch/
Network works, and internet works but I cannot get view the webserver.
I tried typing the following into firefox:
http://localhost as well as
http://127.0.0.1
What webserver is running anyway? I cannot find one under netstat
Please help.

I had this too.
in /etc/httpd/httpd.conf I added this line:
servername zmhost
then in /etc/hosts I added
127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost zmhost
which is similar to an existing line, but without the version number.
i left the existing line intact.
do a sudo httpd -k start and you should be up and running.

I also had this problem with the livecd and this resolved it for me. Apache worked fine when booting off the cd but not after installing to the hard disk.

Check the hosts file - remove the underscore and numbers from the end of the 127.0.0.1 line

Does anyone still have the ZMLArch Live CD iso? If yes, would you be able to share with me please?
