just upgraded to 1.24.1 using PV-981 card - no bnc work

Setup:
Quad core processor
4gb ram
500gb hd
PV-981 card
Ubuntu 9.04 desktop

3 bnc cameras
2 ip cameras

before upgrade everything worked.
after upgrade only ip cameras work
upgraded from 1.23.3 to 1.24.1

Level of linux knowledge: "What's a vi ?

xawtv shows one camera perfectly.
I have tried /dev/video0 through /dev/video3 on 0 & 1 using
Video for Linux Version 1
NTSC
320 X 240
Grey

I've got nearly the same setup. 2x PV-981 and 16 cameras. I use the 8 port cards. Here are the settings I have been using.

For chip 1, channel 0

Code: Select all

Device Path: /dev/video0
Capture Method: Video for Linux version 1
Device Channel: 0
Device Format: NTSC
Capture Palette: RGB24
Capture Width: 320
Capture Height: 240
V4L_MULTI_BUFFER: unchecked
CAPTURES_PER_FRAME: 2

no luck.
I made the changes and tried video0 0 and video0 1.
i restarted zm, still no luck.
i restarted the entire system, but nothing.

I checked the zmdc.log and here is the last couple of lines:
