It currently does not directly handle proxies, but it is fairly easy for me to add that.

I will look in to a quick fix for the port issue.

Logs

I have been pounding my head all day on trying to get this to work. I get nothing in the log files they are all zero bytes. I have tried on Ubuntu 9.04 desktop, Ubuntu 8.04 desktop and a windows XP machine.

The windows client gets to login and once I auth just hangs. My Linux boxes launch and hang with

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NullPointerException.

I am wondering about the JMF install on the server, when I do it I get the following at the end.

Exception in thread "main" java.awt.HeadlessException:
No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.
at java.awt.GraphicsEnvironment.checkHeadless(GraphicsEnvironment.java:159)
at java.awt.Window.<init>(Window.java:431)
at java.awt.Frame.<init>(Frame.java:403)
at JMFInit.<init>(JMFInit.java:23)
at JMFInit.main(JMFInit.java:248)

These are headless ubuntu 9.04 64 Bit server installs. I have one running 1.23.3 from repos and one running 1.24.2 from source. Both systems are working just fine. Can get to web interface auth and view cameras and events.

I downloaded the code for console from sourceforge. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am going to install zmarch and see if I have any better luck.

It could be the JMF install. Make sure that /usr/local/JMF-2.1.1e/lib/ is populated, specifically, jmf.jar

This is from the server. Are the rights accurate for those jar files?

Hi there as with littlej, I too can not replay any events that are listed.
I did see on your website's screenshots page
"3-12-2009 - The features and screenshots shown here reflect the latest version I have been working on that is not available for download yet! I will be putting it on SourceForge soon, so hang in there"
so presumable it's not availible yet,
as it's a feature thats definantly wanted, i'd be happy to test it, and report any issues, if that helps?
Also any chance of a mac version?
Cheers & keep up the good work

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, Java JRE V1.6 Update 17 - also tried it under Update17
