I have been converting these into 4 way Zoneminder boxes, but they come with a 16 channel 4 chip BT878 card, it also has a tv out that i dont care about.
The cameras connect to a dongle, which in turn connects to the card. The connector on the dongle has 16 connections for cameras in groups of 4. Incidentally for zoneminder the port numbers you use are 12-16 for video1,2,3,4. The connector on the pc side of the dongle is the same as the one for a parrallel printer port.
I want to know how to make the card work for all 16 cameras, inserting the module with card=77,77,77,77 makes it work for 4 cameras, zoneminder sources of /dev/videoX.
Connecting cameras to the other points on the card and experimenting with source=/dev/videoX port=1,2,3,4 produces no pictures on the extra cameras. I have sat for a few hours blindly inserting it with random card=numbers too no avail.
I think i need a card=N,N,N,N but after blindly trying some i have no success. Anybody know the settings for the card? PCI ID for the card is 8475:af62
