Axis 212 PTZ - No control from Zoneminder

Hello All,

Can somebody post suggestions for configuring monitor for Axis 212 PTZ camera?

Viewing is just fine. Unfortunately, PTZ controls don't work...

Control Type - Axix API v2
Control Device - blank
Control Address - username:password@IP:80

Thanks for any suggestions. I currently have 23 cameras on this system. They are all Panasonic. I have purchased Axis strictly for ability to use PTZ controls.

I appreciate any quick responses or suggestions.

Axis ptz is supported out of the the box when you select the ptz option in the options page.

OPT_CONTROL Support controllable (e.g. PTZ) cameras (?)

Then go to the control tab in the camera settings page and select AXIS.

Does authentication have anything to do with why it doesn't work? Unfortunately, I haven't figured out a way to have an Axis camera NOT require authentication - so it could be tested. I'm wondering if a configuration file needs to be edited if the camera requires authentication. I'm willing to provide contact info and/or recipriocate for consultation - if their are those who have time or meaningful suggestions. Zoneminder is working fantastic - currently doing motion detection on now 25 views on Data Centers in the NE of the US. Would really like to implement web controls
