update to 1.37.10~20220128153843-focal broke a lot in web ui

Kubuntu 20.04
Latest update of zoneminder to 1.37.10~20220128153843-focal
Tested with two separate installations and several browsers (chrome, firefox, falkon) and several computers.
Ran zmupdate.pl and zmaudit.pl. Rebooted the zoneminder server as well.

1.
After login, only texts "ZoneMinder Login" and "Logging In" appear. URL changes to "https://zoneurl/zm/?" or "https://zoneurl/zm/index.php?"
Otherwise the page is blank. Taking the "?" off from the URL and then reload opens the console correctly.

2.
When console is open, these buttons do nothing:
logout/login
RUNNING (to stop/start zoneminder)
The "^" character to hide Groups/Name/Function/Status/Source/Monitor
The "^" character at the top beside "Audit Events Report"

3.
Clicking any event number of any camera's events open the events page, but it does not show any events.

4.
Montage review opens empty montage placeholders

5.
Cycle does not cycle. Shows only the first monitor and stays there

Now using webui it's also impossible to:
- View or delete events.
- Logout
- Stop/start zoneminder

Was going point out the 'logout' button and the login url myself but you seem to have it all covered.
I am running zm 1.37.10 on Gentoo Linux. Happy to provide any info requested.
Tried clearing /var/cache/zoneminder, to no avail.

PS. Is it just me or are the forums really slow today?

This is getting pretty bad. Thousands of events and more coming.
It's not possible to watch them to verify if they are noticeable or not.

I tried to delete the jpg-files in the events directory yesterday, but that did not reduce the number of events.
Even I ran zmupdate.pl --force manually.

Yes, I can watch them directly from the events directory, but that's not very convenient having loads of events.

Are us two the only ones with this big issue?

Regarding 'thousands of events', do you use filters?
I have a filter that deletes evens older than 7 days. (end Date/Time less than -7 day that are NOT archived)
I have a filter that deletes trivial events (events with less than 50 alarm frames) and have end date/time is not NULL.

This leaves you with events that are within a week (except events you archive), which are left alone.
It throws out all those events such as birds flying past, which, generally, only have a limited number of alarm frames, compared to a person walking through a zone.

Yes, 1.37.10 is really quite broken, if your system is 'production', go back to a more stable version, don't use a development version. Development versions, you expect breakages/issues.

Right. I didn't realize the repo I use is that kind. My bad...

We had a snowstorm. Whirling snow in front of ir view at night is a tough one.
The amount of events is not the biggest concern, but unable to view them is.

Is it possible to downgrade safely (sorry off topic)?

Downgrade
apt remove zoneminder
download new/old
systemctl enable zoneminder
service zoneminder start
a2enconf zoneminder
a2enmod rewrite
a2enmod headers
a2enmod expires
service apache2 reload

some of the a2*** stuff probably will be done, but doesn't hurt.
You may need to run zmupdate.pl if you get complaints about the db

Got an update to Version: 1.37.10~20220131141528-focal today.
No visible changes.

Figured that from "Audit Events Reports" page I can watch events BUT, just one by one.
The only button that works on that page is "Download". No other (Except the header row: console, options etc)
Delete, pause, next...no go.
