Hi,
I have a new setup of ZM on a new hardware. I am using the same settings in the new ZM like in the in parallel running old ZM (other hardware). The new ZM misses a lot of events ...
I would like to debug the situation by analysing missed event pictures.
How does the pixel diff algorithm work? Is there a tool, which could calculate the pixel difference between two images like ZM to get some stats of the images and visualize the differences? The tool should use the same method of threshold for the pixel diff.
And is it possible to feed old events (or manual alarms without real alarm frames) to ZM to see how it reacts to it with different zone settings?
Any ideas?
Debug non alarm events
Re: Debug non alarm events
No such feature exists.
Did you copy over the DB and configs to the new machine?

No. It's a complete new setup using the same parameter and cameras ...
Re: Debug non alarm events
Ok, I don't understand this. ZM compares images within zones pixel by pixel. If I have to different setups using the same zones and zoneparameters.
Why is one instance detecting alarms and the other one not? Both are using the same camera input.
