Zoneminder alarm and mysqldatabase broken

Post by Mannco »

Good evening from France.

Today I've broke the software zoneminder by trying to reset the event ID with a mysql command from that guide: viewtopic.php?t=13674

The first time it work but the second time my software got broken I belive because I forget to turn off zoneminder.

The symptoms are simple my camera doesn't change there state to alarm even if I force the alarm. I check the log but they told me nothing about that I check the mysql database every table are in order expect the event s who got nothing. The event count doesn't reset even if the event are removed from the web page of zoneminder I had to use zmaudit to make a reset

My software is a Debian 10 only in prompt.
I use postfix apache and of course mysql

When I want to check the content of the event table it's empty but I suppose this is normal.

I already try every form of reboot and reset.

So I was wondering if there is anything I could do to fix zoneminder or if I can something to regenerate the mysql properly. Anything that could repair it.

Thank in advance for your help.

You could follow this to recreate the empty DB viewtopic.php?f=42&t=30452
