Change default admin password -- how?

Hi, I went into OPTIONS --> USERS and changed the password for user "admin" but when i access the ZM using the browser it does not ask me any username or password --- no authentication is done.....I did restart zm but not the ubuntu server....Any help would be appreciated

In version 1.28 when I access the url http:://{ip of zm}/zm I get an authentication screen asking me to enter username and password but in 1.30 it does not... i did change the admin pswd!! I there something I must enable?

Enabling Authentication
Once at ZoneMinder's web interface, consider enabling authentication right away.

Click on the Options link on the top right corner
Access the System tab
Enable OPT_USE_AUTH (Authenticate user logins to ZoneMinder)
