Interesting. I wonder how complicated it would be to integrate. Any mention of neural networks usually has me running for the hills!

This tesseract seems to really have a lot of potential for different use-cases, problem only that it is used more for scanned documents and requires tiff-images.

I think i'll test java-anpr.
