ssmtp as an option from within web interface?

Hello,
Just wondering if different ways of smtp options could be implemented either at install time or from the web interface of ZM?
I have no idea if ssmtp is a professional or a reliable way of delivering mail with attachments but perhaps there should either be a way of the mail subsystem to "just work" out of the box with zoneminder, or more info should be provided how ZM intergrates with different mail subsystems (postfix, ssmtp, procmail, mail, sendmail, qmail, exim, e.t.c). While I am writing this message I begin to understand that it is probably some perlmodule that is responsible for those type of things. The little info at readthedocs is sometimes not enough to set it up.
