I think Ross has already writen a howto in the readme doc that installs with the package. You might want to take a glance at it. I know I have plans to do the same withthe Fedora package and it will be done in the next release.

I didn''t find any howto but perhaps I didn't look at the right place
Anyway, with a few advices and the original README instructions, it runs all right.
The problem is when you start playing with the RPM, you don't what has configured the rpm for you.
To save time for people wanting to install Ross RPM on Mandrake, I would say:
1- Have apache, php 4 and SQL installed and running,
2- install the zm RPM,
3- as root, modify /etc/zm.conf:
choose a user name and a password,
5- as root, create the sql database:
cd /usr/lib/zm/bin
./zminit
enter root as sql administrator then do not enter a password
6- start zm with service zm start
7- http://localhost/zm/
and then you can join the README instructions of Phil at paragraph 5: Tutorial.
