rain

Post by smacgre »

Just installed zm to get images of fox digging up our flower bed. Worked great :D

Had to ignore shrub leaves in wind and preclude house window images.

However rained last night and got continual short alarms from what looks like meteor shower, from rain in camera IR.
Not sure how best to kill while retaining sensitivity to animals.

Would be nice if could re-run using new alarms etc. on historic captures, so I could check fox retained and rain removed by new settings?

Could recognise from trigger stats - lots of short duration triggers rather than few longer duration due to movement, but seems not to be available?

Would happily write image processing code to recognise rain/snow patterns in C++ and/or CUDA kernels, but don't know how to hook into processing, or extend GUI interface to control etc.

Any suggestions.

I will enable diag image stuff for next rain storm, but cannot make fox appear to testing!
