Frames from events are not showing

Post by Pete1 »

I have just done a new install of Centos 8 and ZM 1.34.22. I have setup my monitor and it is triggering on motion detection, but not showing individual frames.

From the Console, I click on the number under events and the list of events appears. I then click on the name of one event and the video plays back (although I believe it's just composed of the stills). I then click on FRAMES and a pop-up opens with the list of frames and shows thumbnails. If I click on one of the frame IDs, another pop-up opens but NO image appears. I can click next and previous and the number changes at the top.

If I look on the server where I have installed the program then I can see in the folder where I have specified captures to go, there are folders for events and they contain full size JPEGs and thumbnails. If I open one of the full size JPEGs then the image is there, so it has successfully been saved.

There are no errors apparent in the log.

Where should I start investigating why images are not appearing?

Start by debugging in the browser and the path (url) to the "non-working" image.
Work that back to the file system and check rights and ownership.
