Can't view old events

Hi everyone,

I'm a long time user of ZoneMinder, and have archived events over a number of years.
I recently upgraded to 1.34, and also used this as an opportunity to switch to nginx.

Unfortunately I've encountered 2 errors, which may be related.

1. I've now discovered that I'm unable to view my old events. The files are all there in the correct places, but nothing plays.
I don't see anything in the error logs either. New events (recorded since the upgrade) do play however.

2. Zoneminder is not using the correct storage scheme. I use deep folders, however, new events are created as medium.
I see the path defined in Storage options, but I'm unable to edit it. If I click on it, I see "NewStorage" and an empty form, rather than the default values I'm expecting. I see the same if I click "Add new storage", defaulting to medium.
I've also tried to update the database directly (and restarted the service). While it correctly lists Deep, there's no change.

Can anyone help me troubleshoot?
