No image when defining zones - Solved

Hi all, new user, learning the ins and outs. It looks like a nice tool and I'm exited to get it working well.

New install, version 1.34.9. Camera was working, stream is fine using H264 passthrough. Events were getting recorded. However, when I went to define zones, there was no image in the background.

I found several older posts with similar problems however its been several years and it seems their hacks weren't working.

I was able to figure it out... I'm using virtual hosts and had to copying the cgi files from /usr/libexec/zoneminder/cgi-bin/ to the cgi-bin for my virtual host. After that it worked. I thought others might benefit from this so I posted it.

Please note that you will not get updates to those files you copied.

A better approach would be to setup a proper virtualhost config for zoneminder separate from your other virtualhost.
