Foscam FI9816P

I'm currently testing a Foscam FI9816P dome camera with PTZ in ZM 1.34.2 running on Ubuntu 18.04. ZM is running fine, but actually getting this camera to work is proving tricky (ZM seems to have native support for other Foscam cameras).

I can get it to work (sort of) using RTSP, but despite enabling PTZ control, no control options work. I'm happy to not use RTSP if that's the problem, and was hoping to use ONVIF, which the camera supports on port 888, but that's proving tricky too. When I click ONVIF, the camera is detected as an FI9816P using v1.2, then I can select from two detected profiles, and save the settings. On the control tab, I've tried various templates, but none work. This means I can click on the camera image to zoom (and ctrl-click to zoom out), but shift-click ro clicking to PTZ controls do nothing.

I'd really like to get the PTZ features working on this camera, so any advise would be appreciated.
