Hi, I'm completely new to ZoneMinder and I'm trying to identify if it can be used in my project.
We have X cameras that need to be connected to a camera server (Potentially ZoneMinder).
The video will be recorded continuously.
We have one java software that needs to extract a video clip on any of the X camera using a time period (from min time to max time)

Can ZoneMinder do this ? Any doc reference or link to achieve this will be much appreciated.

Maybe you could use a Filter to run the external script?

Just a heads-up that ZM needs restarting to get new filters to run automatically. Testing with the Execute and List Matches buttons works fine for development purposes though.

In 1.33.6 filters should restart automatically when you save them.
