console not loading correctly after upgrade

After upgrading from version 1.30.4 to 1.32.3 I just get some text after logging in, the whole console doesn't seem to load correctly. I've attached a screenshot. Upgrade seems to have gone fine, I'm wondering if there is some viewing option held over from previous version that prevents console coming up correctly? Any input would be appreciated.

ZM 1.32 requires a more up to date browser than 1.30. Update browser, and try a different browser, also. If that's not it, check logs. Make sure DB updated.

I took a different approach,

1. Exported old database then imported to new server
2. upgraded the database with zmupdate.pl
2. exported each table
3. delete the database and created new with zm_create.sql
3. imported each of the already updated database tables to zm database

zoneminder now seems to be running fine.
