I have a working 1.32.3 (MariaDB) on Stretch. Can I upgrade in place to buster? My sources .list is specifically pointed at "stretch" repositories at the moment.

Note - I installed from:

Code: Select all

# ZoneMinder repository
deb https://zmrepo.zoneminder.com/debian/release stretch/
as per this thread: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=28346

I would say no as there is not a Buster install in the zmrepro at the current time...

However, if you backup the zm database before you do the upgrade the worst case is that you will have to purge the existing Zoneminder or install over the existing in which case you can restore the database without loosing events. Keep in mind that PHP is now at version 7.3.
