ZoneMinder with Multi-Port Enabled Won't Show Events in "Watch" Mode

Post by jsylvia007 »

So this hasn't really been an issue, because I very rarely use the web-based watch mode. I'm almost entirely on zmNinja for all my actual viewing, and it works great.

However, in watch mode, there's a nice link for "Force Alarm", which is extremely beneficial when testing out linked monitors. The issue is, for my setup for some reason, now that I have multi-port enabled, the rest of the "Watch" page never populates.

I've let the page sit there for minutes, and the events list, the state, the fps, etc. never load. This means that I can actually activate the "Force Alarm", but I realized that I have no way to stop the alarm.

Anyone using multi-port have an idea what might be going on? This worked perfectly before I enabled multi-port.

I'm also open to another way to trigger/stop forced alarms for testing.

What is "Watch" mode?

Did you setup up your webserver to listen on the extra ports for multi-port?

I thin zmNinja masks this problem if it's not setup.

I wasn't sure what to call it, but "watch mode" to be is the live video that shows in a new tab when you click the name of the Monitor on the main Console screen.

The video all works fine, and I followed the guide and setup all the necessary webserver stuff.
