PTZ Tracking

Hello everyone, I'm running ubuntu 18.04 with 1.30.4. AMD Ryzen 1700 , 16gb ram, 120gb ssd ,2tb Storage and 7 cameras (currently, have another dozen pending installation!). Everyone is going fine except PTZ Tracking. I have it enabled under control, a week ago i was getting centre -1,-1 but if the machine sat for 12hrs it would randomly start working. If I changed a setting -example zone trigger, it would stop working again and since not come back.
I found an user error with zmtrack being set to user Root, I changed it to www-data, since error hasn't come back but still not working. I can control the camera remotely just fine. When camera picks up something in its zone I see "Got alarm centre at -1,-1, at count 16087" in the logs for zma_m7, but camera still isn't moving or following objects.

Any thoughts where to go with this? I'm fairly new to ZM, certainly not a programmer by trade ..but with enough instructions I'm good to go
