zm only keeping last 24 hours

I'm running zm 1.30.4 on centos 6 and the events only go back 24 hours, zm appears to be deleting anything older than that. The only filters I have are purge-after-7-days* and purge-when-full*. I've taken care that the filters are correct and there's plenty of free disc space. Why would zm be doing this?
note: I do have a cron jog running that restarts zm once every 24 hours, I have this because zm loses connection sometimes to my cameras and restarting it brings the cams back up again. I've tried turning this corn job off but still zm only keeps events for the last 24 hours. Thanks for any help.

Remove the 7 day purge, set purge when full to 80% and restart zoneminder at a time other than midnight. See if you get more than pne day.

thanks for your feedback bbunge your suggestion seems to be working, I now have events going back two days so it looks promising.
