Converting from HTTP to HTTPS

Post by romany »

Running Ubuntu 16.10 and ZM 1.3. Installed from scratch couple of days ago - and so far pretty impressed with ZM. Trying to get zmeventnotification.pl to work - the perl script that allows my android phone (using zmNinja) to receive alerts from the ZM server. As part of the install instructions it said to run the perl script in a terminal first - and look for errors. This is what I get:

SSL_cert_file /etc/apache2/ssl/zoneminder.crt does not exist at /usr/share/perl5/IO/Socket/SSL.pm

I'm assuming that is because I'm running HTTP and not HTTPS. How do I change over to HTTPS?

Thanks in advance...

Ignore this. If I had read a few more lines in the HOWTO I would have read how to take care of this...duh
