Your source path need to have the info to connect to the camera. Like an IP address and log in information.

When I put the full path in I don't even get the blue screen.

have you tried the Remote method? using an http:// URL to the camera like http://admin:admin@192.168.2.123:554/videostream.cgi or http://admin:admin@192.168.2.123:554/video/mjpeg.cgi...

I have dLink 930L that has several URL's that will work with both rtsp and http and jpeg and mjpeg will work depending on a the path...but you must be close ...the blue screen is a step way from a nice clear stream.

Yes I have. I get a blue screen in IE and nothing in Firefox or Chrome because the cameras use shockwave/flash. The only way I can see video outside the native software is to use vlc with a path of rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.2.124:554/stream2

will that path not work at all in ZM? What is set at Options->Images->MPEG_LIVE_FORMAT and Options->Images->MPEG_REPLAY_FORMAT ??

Both of those are set to swf.
