[Ubuntu 15.04]No picture on monitor (xawtv and ffmpeg ok)

ZoneMinder newbie here...
I'm trying to configure a vx1000 (microsoft) camera. Function and Source are green and if I open the monitor window I can see the list of events but I have no picture on box for both Chrome and Firefox. No errors in log and the event folder is populated with jpg pictures I can see with no issues.
Stock configuration, installed from the official PPA.
Any tips?

CAn you please explain how to enable cgi in Apache2? I think I have the same issue. I have no picture on Monitor.
