I have a Bt8xx card that I have Unbuntu 14.04.1 however with my Analog/BNC cameras I am seeing red and green lines going diagonal lines in my picture. I am sure I am not understanding some setting, so I am looking for some guru people to help me

OK, I can seem to get the lines gone, but adjusting certain details. However, now I can't seem to get more than 1 camera working. This is an 8 port card, so now I am lost? Any help?

IN general you have to figure out what bttv card you have thanks to many mfg skiping putting an eprom on the card to identify the pin mapping.

Also with any card that has shared chips you must make sure the camera have the exact same settings or they wont capture correctly.

I am still trying bttv.conf, everytime I add them all cameras fail. I have attached the card data, it is not an expensive card. I see your point over many generics, any help tuning this card would be appreciated. The issue I am not seeing is I can get 2 cameras to work, the 3rd has like split vision top is bottom, bottom is top. And the 4th well it either does the diagonal lines or nothing at all. All cameras have the exact same settings.
