Err: Attempt to fetch integer value for ZM_OPT_ADAPTIVE_SKIP

Post by benf »

Hi,

Just noticed my 1.28 installation on Centos 6.6 is throwing errors, and although running is not capturing from any of my attached cameras - JPEG, RTMP :

Looking in the logs, the error flagged as it starts the capture process is :

Code: Select all

Attempt to fetch integer value for ZM_OPT_ADAPTIVE_SKIP, actual type is boolean. Try running 'zmupdate.pl -f' to reload config.
OK, so I ran the script, which freshened the database - but didn't clear the error.

Checking via phpmyadmin I did a check and optimise on the database table but that didn't flag any consistency issues - also didn't help either.

Any suggestions for a fix?

I suspect that after a recent Perl RPM update that was pushed in the last four weeks which was installed there may be some stricter type checking which is responsible ...?

Ben.

Just reporting back - I tried various things but basically nuking Zoneminder 1.28.03 and then re-installing and setting up the monitors once again did the trick.
