Tried installing this on both Debian and Ubuntu with no success at all.
Hours spent on this and never got it working.
WHAT A PIECE OF CRAP!!!

You really need to work on the installation of this thing.

Foscam FI9805E not that it mattered, I never got any response from the software interface.
Could never get the service even started.

HOLY SHIT!!!!

Total waste of time......

Do not mix your emotions with your technical capabilities and patience...this software is wonderful, takes some time to make it work, I recommend you to read and try, with this attitude you will not get any support...

I just compiled 1.27.99 from git source on Debian 7.2 in VMware w a basic ip camera in under two hours. Too bad you are so lame.

I have several large ZM systems running with no issues and they have been for years. It works well when properly configured but it requires knowledge of Linux and a bit of tinkering for your environment to get going. It is good software, if you can get it to work the problem exists between the keyboard and chair.
