Ubuntu 13.10

I followed the instructions posted for the Ubuntu 13.10 zoneminder early fix, but I still get a blank page. Any ideas are welcome - and I'm happy to upload log files or VNC if necessary.

- I still get a blank page at localhost/zm
- I DO see a valid page at localhost
- I tried the following steps (from quick fix for Ubuntu 13.10)

ln -s /etc/zm/apache.conf /etc/apache2/conf-enabled/zoneminder.conf
sudo nano /etc/php5/php.ini #and change short_open_tag = Off to short_open_tag = On 
/etc/init.d/apache2 force-reload

Admitting you will solve your (perhaps easy) issue, there will be bigger next....

I solved with 12.04 server installation
