Most of my cameras are mpeg4 and H264, when I set the cameras to mpeg4 and ZoneMinder's Source to Remote and use the rtsp URL they work fine. However, when I set the cameras to H264 and try to do the rtsp connection there is an decoding error on every frame.
If I switch the Source to ffmpeg having the cameras set to H264 works, but H264 will not work when the Source is set to Remote.
Is there some problem that I'm not aware of where H264 just will not work with the Source set to Remote? The fact that it works with ffmpeg seems to say it's not a lib or codec issue on the server because ffmpeg works.
