I have 3 monitors running..perfect now, add now want to add another (running 1.25.0) and now the "Add New Monitor" button is grayed out, and I cannot figure out why. I went as far as restarting the Ubuntu server. I can't seem to find out why I cannot add anymore. Sorry if a stupid question, I am just dumbfounded.

2 things come to mind quickly, either you are logged into a system where the username does not have the rights or zoneminder is not in a Running state

I finally found out the problem is within the options/users/your username page. Do not select any restricted monitors or you will be just what it says, restricted to those monitors only.
I wanted to post this as I wasted countless days working on this. D'oh!
