Can I secure this sucker for remote access via Apache?

...and if so how? This is assuming I can't fix ZM's internal security, which appears to be completely malformed. Turning it on kills the video, the log says "authentication errors" up the yinyang, YET if that's a problem then why can I get back in and turn authentication OFF?

htpasswd is the normal way to secure a web dir, just following a guide like this for zm's web dir;
