PV-981 - 16,Ubuntu 11.04 Server - 8 of 16 Channels Work.

Hello everyone, im working on getting all 16 channels working on this zoneminder box. I have 8 of the 16 channels working however I cannot get the last 8 to work. I read through a few different pages and it talks about adding something to /etc/modprobe.conf, however I do not have on of those files. I need to know how to load this at boot (if this is even the correct way to fix the problem) so that all 16 channels are working. I see where I can edit a modules file however i dont know if its the same was as described in the help page I found.

Anyone have any suggestions?

In your monitor entry you will need the device path to be something like "/dev/video0", but also you will need to set the channel. In my case I have and 8 chip card with 16 cameras and I'm using /dev/video0 for two devices, channels 0 and 1. In the Options > Config. I had to uncheck V4L_MULTI_BUFFER and use 2 for CAPTURES_PER_FRAME.
