I have been looking for this but I couldn't find a answer.
I did find a topic from 2005 saying something about it.

Does ZoneMinder support audio?

I'm designing a security system, and this would be used to view the attendants of the company. They intend to see and listen what is happening on the front desk.

Zoneminder looks a great solution but I have heard it does not have audio support.

It does not support audio at this point. There is talk about audio in future versions.

Audio support as in record video and AUDIO... for the other thing... You can make a tutorial video and upload it to Youtube if your fingers hurts!!!
