usb-webcam, mini-PC with lenny: connect to a PC with zm?

Hi,
general question, newbie question: is it possible to use a USB webcam connected to a small mini-PC (e.g. futro thinClient, lenny on CF-card) over LAN to a fatClient (lenny-PC)? - The video stream should be transferred via LAN as if the webcam would be a LAN webcam and not a USB webcam.

really no experience so far? - Is it really necessary to connect a usb webcam to the server PC with the zoneminder installation? And not possible to connect to a client/ guest PC?

ON you thin clients you can run "uvc streamer " and tell zoneminder to use the jpeg stream.

I have installed "Motion" but it seems it does not workâ€¦
how do I install a driver package for a UVC class web cam connected to the computer running ZM ?
They seem like a good option ...
