Cannot replay events

Post by ukpbz »

Hi,

When I see an event alert and click view, a new window opens up but all I get in the video screen is a white square with a red X in the top left hand side. Any ideas?

Cheers

Sorry :-(

When I try and playback I get no errors in the logs ( Using tail -f messages ) The screen I get makes me think like there is no image/video file there. When a motion is captured the logs state this

Jun 1 21:49:22 cctv zma_m5[10338]: INF [Airlink1: 191 - Left alarm state (23) - 103(83) images]
Jun 1 21:49:25 cctv zma_m5[10338]: INF [Airlink1: 196 - Gone into alarm state]
Jun 1 21:49:25 cctv zma_m5[10338]: INF [Airlink1: 196 - Creating new event 24]
Jun 1 21:49:25 cctv zma_m5[10338]: INF [Updating notes for event 24, 'Motion: All']
Jun 1 21:49:27 cctv last message repeated 5 times
Jun 1 21:49:27 cctv zma_m5[10338]: INF [Airlink1: 202 - Gone into alert state]

It doesn't say that there are any write errors?

If I click on the 'Stream' menu item I do get a video displayed, but its not as clear as the monitor video, so it is writing something...

During my testing I also got a Java runtime error on my windows vista client. Is that related?

Any pointers please?

Thanks

Check your Apache error log. Either a permissions issue or misconfiguration.

I had the same problem when accessing the video through IE8 ( I think is a java problem). I installed firefox on my vista box and everything works fine.
