Wansview W2 (NCM754GA)

Post by Guntwin »

Hi,

does anybody know how to config a Wansview W2 (Wansview NCM754GA) Cam? I tried the W3 config:

Protocol: RTSP
Method: RTP/RTSP
Hostname: [User]:[Password]@IP
Port: 554
Path: /live/ch0

there is no connection with this settings. If i try to open it in VLC with: rtsp://[User]:[Password]@192.168.2.26:554/live/ch0 it doesnt work too, but if i use the url rtsp://192.168.2.26:554/live/ch0 (without user and password) it works. VLC asked me for User and Password after opening the url and i got a stream.

I have the same camera Wansview W2.

Using this command I can see the video stream in real time:

mplayer rtsp://admin:<pass>@<IP>:554/live/ch1

That works fine. Now I try to integrate with ZM.

Using ZM v1.36.33 via docker. Added the camera with this parameters:

Source Path: rtsp://admin:<pass>@<ip>:554/live/ch1
Target colorspace: 24 bits
Capture Resolution (pixels): 1920x1080p
Method: TCP
Function: monitor

The camera is properly added to the console panel, shows function monitor "capturing" 24.98fps 10.05kB/s.

However, when click on the camera, I dont see the image displayed. Just see a black screen, even if I click on the "refresh" button.

Somebody was able to integrate this camera succesfully?

You might try something like this from iSpy:
Screenshot 2023-11-04 at 15-28-50 Connect to Wansview cameras.png
Screenshot 2023-11-04 at 15-28-50 Connect to Wansview cameras.png (53.13 KiB) Viewed 14973 times
Also, check the camera for a setting to verify user/pass, and probably leave colorspace at 32.
