usb with optical zoom

usb with optical zoom

Has anyone located a USB based camera's that also supports optical zoom? It would be indoor use only and doesn't need infrared. I found a couple online, but they were like $300+, which is more then i want to spend. The gate in my yard I need to monitor is about 10 meteres away. I have a Logitech C310 which is working great in general, but it doesn't get the close up detail. which makes it a little hard to see who it is.
