I finally got Pan and Tilt to work on my recently installed Panasonic BB-HCE481A PTZ camera (ZM 1.23.2 on OPen SuSE 10.3). Command response issues were resolved by doubling the frame rate and reducing the buffer to 10.

However, I cannot get the Zoom capability to function. Anyone have any ideas as to how to correct?

Unfortunately my Panasonic cam doesn't have zoom on it so I have never been able to test. Are there any errors in your web logs or zmcontrol.log?

I will have a another look anyway in case there are any obvious cockups.

One quick note: this is the output from attempting to Zoom.

Curious thing: when I enable the DVR control, the up/down Zoom, Iris, and White control arrows for my PTZ camera disappear. The labels remain and those controls (specifically Zoom) still do not function.

When I go into the Pansonic software and hover over the zoom out button, it's linked to the following:

Has anyone found a solution for Zooming on a Panasonic IPro camera?

Hi, I manage data centers with all panasonic IP cameras - I have not been able to do any pan,tilt,zoom, controls. Can you do a brief step by step set of instructions. They are primarily bb-hcm515a. Thanks so much!
