Anyone used Zoneminder to control Insteon devices?

Post by phiberop »

Is ZM capable of communicating and controlling Insteon devices? I did a quick search, but did not see anyone posting this topic already.

Check out http://www.insteon.net or http://www.smarthome.com

It seems to me that Insteon is a much better system than X10, and it uses the same signaling protocol, so its backwards compatible. Has anyone used ZM with any of the Insteon system devices? If so, please tell what equipment you are using in your system!

You mean controlling Insteon cameras ?

I have one here and I set it up in Zoneminder through the RTSP protocol. But I still couldn't make PTZ working.

I might find myself needing to get some to keep using my old x10 stuff...
